I believe I had that one.
The moment I heard Miranda Lamberts double CD, "The Weight of These Wings" last summer, I knew my ears were in the presence of greatness. And when it was rewarded "Album of the Year," that feeling was verified.
For those that gripe, "THAT AIN'T COUNTRY!!!"
"Y'ALL DON'T PLAY COUNTRY"
"COUNTRY MUSIC'S DEAD"
Trust me, we hear them all...get a load of THIS!
As much as I love the pain and story of "Vice," this is the one. "Tin Man" is the song of love lost and pain that makes the whole project for me. And this version recorded, apparently in a bathroom, is just too good.
