“It’s getting small very fast,” Thomas Rhett explained last week of his house during an appearance on NBC’s Today.

The “Die A Happy Man” singer was discussing the arrival of adopted daughter Willa Gray and the pending arrival of his biological daughter. That’s not to say he isn’t loving every minute of it, of course.

“[Willa] is the most amazing baby,” the singer offered. “She sleeps like 13 hours, so we haven’t really had the whole ‘I’m exhausted’ [thing] yet.” Hosts Sheinelle Jones and Al Roker were quick with laughs, urging Thomas not to get too comfortable with that just yet. Thomas Rhett on his newly adopted baby: Hoda is spoiling her!

Country-pop star Thomas Rhett, guest co-host on TODAY's Take, talks about Willa Gray, the adorable baby girl he just adopted with wife Lauren Gregory, who is pregnant. He claims Hoda Kotb "ruined" Willa Gray by giving her a taste of being on stage during his Citi Concert performance, and shares adorable video of the baby's first encounter with tofu.

Thomas Rhett performs 'Die a Happy Man' live on the TODAY plaza

Country-rock artist tells TODAY how adopting a baby girl has changed things for himself and his wife, Lauren Gregory (both of whom are in the plaza concert crowd). Then he performs "Die a Happy Man," the second single from his 2015 album, "Tangled Up."

Thomas has a busy week ahead with performances at both the 2017 CMA Music Festival and 2017 CMT Music Awards, where he’s up for four honors. The new dad could take home trophies for Performance, Video, Social Superstar and Male Video of the Year on the show, which airs live from Nashville Wednesday (6/7).
