When the world got word in 2014 that Garth Brooks was coming out of retirement and would begin touring again, some wondered how successful he could be. Yes, he was a global superstar in the ’90s, but that was then. What about now?

Forbes offered a pretty definitive answer this week in its list of The World’s Highest-Paid Country Musicians 2017. The Garth man topped ’em all. The country megastar raked in an impressive $60 million, besting his closest competition (Kenny Chesney) by $17.5 million. Here’s how everyone else did.
