Tim McGraw is a fitness nut. You can tell that by looking at him, of course, but also by the workout experiences friends have had with him.

Take Brantley Gilbert, for example. The “Bottoms Up” singer found himself on the road with Tim as part of the Two Lanes Of Freedom Tour a few years ago and was invited by the superstar to one of his daily workouts. “I’d go out there work out with him about 30 minutes and he’d be out there for eight hours!” Brantley recently told Sounds Like Nashville. “If you cut that man, he’ll bleed chrome like dude on Terminator. I ain’t never seen nothing like that in my life.”

It’s Tim’s endurance that most commands Brantley’s respect. “I’d watch them out the window and start sweating,” Brantley continued jokingly. “I used to have nightmares about him knocking on my bus door and telling me it’s time to work out. I’m terrified of that sumbitch, him and Kenny [Chesney] both.”

Brantley is in pretty good shape himself, but says he doesn’t exercise as much as he should. “I’m probably about to the age and the point in my life where I need to start dressing that up a little bit,” he admitted to the outlet.
