Harlow loves to play! Spending time with him is a delight. He can be a bit quiet and reserved, maybe even a bit shy, but it doesn't take him long to feel comfortable with people. When approaching his kennel he does not bark, he stays quiet until he sees the leash. His enthusiasm takes over as he knows he's going out to PLAY! He does well on leash, walks nicely, he's calm and responds to "sit". Once out in the yard he loves playing fetch with the tennis ball! When it's time to rest he will wiggle his way onto your lap, roll on his back, and ask for belly scratches.
On a recent outing to Freedom Park, Harlow got in the car easily, rode well, did not whine or jump and remained calm until he reached the park. He did well on leash, had appropriate behavior when he met other dogs, and wanted to sniff everything during the walk. He stayed behind the handler when people approached and wanted to pet him. He thoroughly enjoyed the park, found leaves to play with, splashed in the shallow end of the creek - so much fun! Harlow will do well with a family that has the time and space he needs to adjust. He is jumpy with loud noises, and children shouting so he would do best in a home that does not have small children. Meeting Harlow is well-worth a trip to the shelter to meet him, you'll be glad you did.

Party Animal
I'm a cat on a mission: PARTY! I love to play and explore and test my limits. I'd love to play with you, but I can make a toy out of anything: pencils, post-it notes, potatoes. If you're looking for some laughs and someone to liven up the party, think about inviting me.
Smitten for Kittens: only $10 to adopt!
