MARAWI, PHILIPPINES – JULY 22: A government sniper training his sight on enemy positions on July 22, 2017 in Marawi, southern Philippines. The Philippine Congress voted on Saturday to extend martial law in the southern part of the country since it was imposed to crush a rebellion by Islamic State-inspired militants. The decision was made two days before President Rodrigo Duterte delivers his annual state of the nation address as analysts have reportedly said Mr. Duterte appears to be using the crisis in Marawi as an excuse to impose authoritarian rule in the Philippines. LONG before there was 911 or "American Sniper," Tom Berenger and Billy Zane did a really cool movie about a burnt-out Marine sniper, and an understudy.
It was simply called, "Sniper."
I really liked it. Now, I know there were a couple of sequels and they got progressively worse. That being said, if you'd have told me there were now SEVEN "Sniper" movies in the series?
This is the seventh, "Sniper: Ultimate Kill," and is slated to be releaed straight to video and download on October 3. What makes this one cool enough for me to pay attention to is both Berenger and Zane are in this one (I don't think they've been in another one together since the first).
