Giving away tickets to "Disney on Ice: Frozen" reminded us that there are times when it seems like a good idea-on paper-to take the kids, but then...

When our son was little, we took him to "Disney on Ice: Toy Story 2." He was beyond fired up...LOVED "Toy Story." Then, the show began with a HUGE explosion. Our boy went nuts.

Luckily we were able to calm him down.

However, it was one of those moments. You ever have one?

Charlie Nance is the Afternoon Drive co-host (along with his wife) of "The Charlie and Debbie Show" at WSOC, Country 1037 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
