Maybe the best "cops and robbers" movie I've ever seen is "Heat" starring Robert DeNiro as a master thief (and head of a crew of pretty good ones), and Al Pacino as a cop who would cross any line to nail him.

Now Gerard Butler (pictured above) stars in what looks to be an updated version of this kind of movie.  Get ready for "Den of Thieves."  Now, I'm not going to try and tell you that the star of "The 300" and rapper, 50 Cent are the new DeNiro and Pacino, but this could be worth a look when it comes out next year.
