Chris Pratt took to social media recently to alert fans about an online imposture pretending to be him.

The actor let his fans know his warning should be taken seriously and that someone is posing as him with a fake account on Facebook — And possibly other social media channels as well.

The imposture has been contacting female fans in the hopes of obtaining their phone numbers.

Pratt said if he finds out who is pretending to be him he will have the account shut down. He added he would like to punch them in the face.

He also let his fans know that any official account associated with his name online will have a blue verified check mark. If the account doesn’t have that check mark, it’s a fake account.
