Christmas isn’t Christmas without family traditions and that goes for country stars, too. Carly Pearce‘s? Movie night with Mom.

They watch two movies in particular. “We watch The Family Stone and we watch The Holiday and that’s kind of our thing,” Cary says through her record label. “We may watch them twice. I always know it’s Christmas when my mom and I are on the couch watching that. And now it’s like we have a glass of wine and we eat popcorn and that’s just a very special time for me.”

The four-legged members of the family get in on the action, too. “We’re very big animal people,” Cary adds. “So when I see the animal stockings that look identical to our family pets, when they’re hanging, I know it’s Christmas. And mom puts those out pretty early ’cause she loves them.”

Carly and her fam’ haven’t snuggled in for the holidays just yet, though. The “Hide The Wine” singer is still on the road with upcoming concert dates in Ohio, Illinois and Wisconsin. See a complete list of dates here.
