Thanks to all our listeners and our team here at The New 103.7 we are thrilled to announce that a whopping 230,574 pounds of food were collected during February’s 2018 Scouting for Food Drive to benefit Loaves & Fishes to feed the hungry in our community.

With an estimated 3,000 Boy Scouts from across The Mecklenburg County Council of Boy Scouts of America going door-to-door collecting food, as well as staffed multiple food collection sites throughout the county on February 3rd and 4th. As the donations kept pilling in, the collection grew and thanks to all the collaborative efforts, this food will last throughout the spring and into the summer.

Keep on doing amazing things Charlotte, we love you!
