I have had more people in the last two weeks talk with me about how they've discovered and started binge-watching Season One of "Westworld" from HBO.

My response is the same: "How did you miss this when it was on in the first place?"

Here is the official synopsis of the series:

"Based on the film written by best-selling author Michael Crichton (ER, Jurassic Park films), Westworld is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and evolution of sin. Set at the intersection of the near future and a reimagined past, the series explores a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged."

However, that basically tells you nothing.

This show is smart, funny, scary, suspenseful, and dangerous-all at the same time.

And now, Season Two debuts on April 22 on HBO. I can't wait.
