Tristan Fewings/Getty ImagesThis has the potential to be one of the most interesting movies that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has attempted. Just a day after the final "Avengers: Infinity War" trailer was released, we get a second look at "Venom."
What will make this interesting is how the writers/producers/director manipulate this tale to make us root for Venom. In the comics, Venom is a major ENEMY of Spider-man.
Like the comics, it appears that a symbiote substance (Venom) comes to inhabit the body of reporter, Eddie Brock. However, unlike the comics, instead of a menace to good, "Venom" is somewhat of an anti-hero.
Hmmm...we'll see. I do like that Tom Hardy (pictured above), who is WAYYYY under-rated as an actor, is in the starring role.
"Venom" opens in October.
