NO ONE "goes to the well" more often, or better than, Disney.
In the past couple of years they have turned a couple of their most beloved animated features: "Cinderella" and "Beauty and the Beast" into HIGHLY successful live action adaptations.
And "The Mouse" seems to have a philosophy of if it ain't broke, don't fix it. So, here we go again. This time, the movie is "Dumbo." And ordinarily, I'd completely ignore this except of the name that is attached to direct, Tim Burton.
This guy is weird, but he's a very creative filmmaker who has made some very memorable movies over the years ("Beetlejuice," "Ed Wood," "Edward Scissorhands," "Batman" etc)
And this first teaser looks to have the earmarkings of his genius all over it. Dumbo is due out in 2019.
