Cooking is my passion.  So, I consume food shows like a kid consumes candy.  It seems one of the current obsessions/trends with all the "chefy chef" types is to dump an over easy, runny egg on top of EVERYTHING!

No  matter the food...pizza, burgers, nachos.   Now I love eggs, but there is a time and place for everything.   They assume the rest of the world is most certainly in love with the ooey, gooey cascade of yolk erupting over their food when the fork hits it.  I'm open to a lot of trends in the food world, but I cringe at the thought.  Am I the only one?  And, what other food trends are you not on board with?
