Man Dies Hours Before He Was Supposed To Bring New Baby Home From Hospital
A new mom is grieving after her husband was tragically killed over the weekend in a head on crash in Mashpee, Massachusetts.
The man, identified as Kevin Quinn, 32, was driving home from the hospital on Sunday after visiting his wife and new baby girl. His daughter had been born a couple of days before he died.
Quinn was scheduled to return to the hospital that same day to bring his wife and daughter home, but sadly he never returned.
According to WISTV, at the time of the crash, police were attempting to pull over another man who was driving erratically.
The man, identified as Mickey Rivera, 22, swerved into oncoming traffic in what was more than likely an attempt to evade police.
At that time, Rivera crashed into Quinn. Rivera was pronounced dead on scene, and Quinn was listed as critical.
He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
