Hundreds of Volunteers Showed Up for a Waxhaw Parade in Honor of a Three-Year-Old Princess
Mackenzie has been diagnosed with a rare and fatal brain cancer, Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma which has no known cure. Doctors found the brain tumor after she hit her head a few months ago and went to the emergency room.
On Sunday, hundreds of people flocked to Waxhaw to celebrate Mackenzie. She was escorted in a pink Escalade to the parade, where she jumped into a horse drawn carriage to ride down the streets.
