Keeping your tools organized and in a predictable place makes life easier for the DIYer.

How many times have you launched into a five-minute project only to spend an hour looking for the tool you need?  Avoid this by having a designated place for everything and everything in its place.  This also goes for fasteners, wall anchors, and other odds and ends.  Reserve a drawer or small chest for tool storage and be diligent about putting them back.

A tool you can't find is a tool you don't have.
