Hollywood Icon Burt Reynolds Dead at 82 Hollywood icon Burt Reynolds has died. The actor starred in cultural movies like “Smokey and the Bandit”, “Boogie Nights”, where he won an Oscar for best-supporting actor for his portrayal “Jack Horner”, he also starred in “The Cannonball Run”. Reynolds was rushed to the hospital after going into cardiac arrest, he struggled with heart problems after having major heart surgery in February he began to get frail from multiple hospital visits. Reynolds was married to Loni Anderson from 1988 until 1992, when they had a nasty divorce. Reynolds agreed to pay Loni 234,794.13, but he didn’t fully payout until 2015. Reynolds was surrounded by his family at the time of death, he was 82.
