If there is one mistake I see with most amateurs-over and over-that leads to poor performance, it's a bad and/or improper warm-up.

Too many times I see people just hop out of the car, into a cart, shoes untied, step on the range and start just banging drivers.

For starters, EVERYONE-and I mean EVERYONE-should do just a little bit of stretching before they do anything remotely related to swinging a club.

You should also make time to do some practice on the putting green.  Perhaps we'll do a video on that soon...

Anyway, today's video component to "Taking Dead Aim" deals with a good routine for the range prior to a round.  That's not to say there aren't some that are better, but this is one that is basic and should never steer you wrong.

And a reminder, if you love golf, you'll LOVE my "Taking Dead Aim" golf show that airs live on 94.7 Smoke/1660 AM Saturday mornings at 9.  Then, at 10 it's available in Podcast form at the link below or thru Apple Podcasts-just subscribe to "Taking Dead Aim."
