Tanner’s Friday Flowers: Stephanie at Hickory Grove Church in Charlotte

Surprise, Stephanie!

Stephanie was nominated by her best friend, Meredith, "I would like to nominate my friend Stephanie. Stephanie and I have been friends for almost 20 years during which time I have managed to behave like a fool and like an actual adult and like everything in between.  Stephanie has been a steady and true friend the whole time. She certainly deserves flowers for her golden friendship, but mostly deserves flowers because she is such a servant. She is the salt of the earth and serves everyone she comes into contact with. She serves in the music ministry at our church where she works full-time, which basically means she is available and working hard sometimes seven days a week. She is a devoted wife and mother and goes home to work a second job from home in the evenings after her long days at work so that she can provide for her family. She gets up at 4:15 every day so she can have some time to herself to do some exercise before she hits the ground running to serve everybody else.  She never complains and never asks for recognition.   I don't think enough people know how valuable Stephanie is, including Stephanie. She deserves more than a bouquet of flowers, but that would be a great start. It would make her day."
