Tanner’s Letter To His Late Mom!

Today is the one year anniversary of the passing of Mom. She passed very quickly last year and it seemed to take a while for it to really sink in that Mom is gone!

A few weeks ago when the famiy arrived at our vacation spot, I picked up my phone to call Mom and let her know we had got there safely. That's when it sinks in! Mom is gone.

Below is a picture of a note I left for my Mom when I was little...she had saved it. My spelling was about at good as it is now!

The whole family misses the clicking sound of her electric wheelchair late at night when he would come home from Bingo!

My Mom was a single Mom who worked constantly to raise two boys! She experienced the worst nightmare a parent can have my brother was injured in a car accident.  After many years in a vegetative state at a nursing home, he passed in his early thirties.

She went through much, and continued to smile.

If you still have your Mom...hug her, you will miss her!
