The pilot of a diverted American Airlines flight (that was scheduled to fly from Los Angeles to Dallas) ordered a whole bunch of pizza for his passengers after the flight was diverted to Wichita Falls, Texas. The flight was diverted because of severe thunderstorms. The end result? 159 passengers were stuck in the Wichita Falls airport, awaiting accommodations until their flight departed the following morning. The pilot's name is Jeff Raines. He ordered 40 pizzas to be delivered to the airport. How cool is that? I think someone needs to make him CEO!
