Jim Carrey's new show on Showtime, "Kidding," is absolutely brilliant. In it he plays a "Mr. Rogers" type character who appears to be on the verge of a collapse on a couple of levels.

If you haven't seen it, find a way.

However, watching that reminded me of how AMAZING Jim Carrey was at sketch comedy on TV. He was one of the stars of "In Living Color" on Fox for many years, and also had a couple of memorable appearances as guest host on Saturday Night Live.

Here is just such an instance with no less than Will Ferrell to play off of.

This is scorchingly funny.
