For this week's video component to my "Taking Dead Aim" golf radio show and podcast, I wanted to share with you something that literally just fell in my lap.

A week ago I got a call from a high school buddy of mine-who now lives here in Charlotte-from Scotland.  He was on a "business" trip-a "conference"- at the famous Trump Turnberry Resort on the Firth of Clyde.

First off, I gotta get in the business that chooses to have its conferences at one of the top 20 golfing destinations in the world (if not higher).

Secondly (and most important), I was/am soooo jealous.

You see Turnberry's Ailsa Course is the sight of a couple of the most famous Open Championships in history.  Tom Watson & Jack Nicklaus' "Duel in the Sun" in 1977 and then in 2009 when a 59-year-old Watson almost did the impossible and won the Open Championship against a field of golfers mostly half his age.

My friend sent me some pictures, and I was blown away.  He gracioulsy has allowed me to share some of them with you now.  I hope you find them as breathtakingly beautiful as I do.

I don't know if I'll ever make it there to tee it up, but if not...these pictures and my imagination are not a bad consolation.
