I was cleaning out my garage, and I ran across a box of belongings my mom had sent me years ago from her attic.  In sorting through the stuffed animals and tapes of my early radio days (a subject for another day), I found my diary from 1983.  That would be my Freshman year in high school for those of you keeping score.  Oh, to be 15 again!  

Flirt game was strong with the fellas.  And apparently in my town, being fed a bite of chicken fried steak is as good as a marriage proposal.

Another one bites the dust!

What snappy dialogue in the entry above between the star football player and myself.  I'm starting to get the idea I was the "Cookie Fleck" of my day..."Best In Show" reference.  Yikes, I needed to dial it down a notch.

And then below, there was the time I dated the preacher's son, Trey.   My how times have changed.  Take a look the "game" we played in youth fellowship at the church!  At. The. Church.
