Let’s face it, DC Universe’s movies have been inconsistent at best.
One one hand there’s “Wonder Woman” (EXCELLENT). On another, there’s “Batman vs. Superman” or “Justice League” (MEH!). So, A LOT is riding on next month’s “Aquaman.”
Jason Mamoa (“Game of Thrones”) reprises his critically acclaimed role from “Justice League” as the King of Atlantis, and the film was screened in NYC yesterday.
While Warner Brothers’ execs are holding their breath, at least one critic thinks they can exhale.
WB screened #Aquaman yesterday at their screening room here in NY and we can’t say anything but for what it’s worth, I loved it, truly. I the top 3 DC Films movie. My top 2 are Man of Steel and Wonder Woman. It’s sits comfortably somewhere in between. No I can’t answer questions.— Prince Entertainment Media (@PrinceEntMedia) November 15, 2018
I hope this is true. “Aquaman” hits theaters December 21st.
