Let's face it, DC Universe's movies have been inconsistent at best.
One one hand there's "Wonder Woman" (EXCELLENT). On another, there's "Batman vs. Superman" or "Justice League" (MEH!). So, A LOT is riding on next month's "Aquaman."
Jason Mamoa ("Game of Thrones") reprises his critically acclaimed role from "Justice League" as the King of Atlantis, and the film was screened in NYC yesterday.
While Warner Brothers' execs are holding their breath, at least one critic thinks they can exhale.

I hope this is true. "Aquaman" hits theaters December 21st.
