The Monroe Expressway Opens Today

At around 10am today, the first toll road in the Charlotte area will open.
The Monroe Expressway starts in Stallings near Interstate 485 and runs through Marshville. This stretch skips a portion of US 74 which will shave off about 20 minutes from some commuters.
