Was he wrong for doing this on live TV?

Adam Levine made a lot of Voice viewers angry on Tuesday night after he told fans to vote for 14-year-old Reagan Strange who was unable to perform due to sickness. Strange, who is on Team Adam, was sitting in the audience as Nico, also on Team Adam, stood before Levine and performed in hopes of being ‘saved’ after his performance.

However, instead, Levine went on to say, "There is an unbelievably talented little girl right now who is notable to fight for her position on this show," he said. “The thought of breaking [Strange's] heart by not urging everyone to give this girl a shot to redeem herself next week would be too far beneath me."

Viewers felt like Levine had thrown Nico under the bus and Kelly Clarkson quickly tried to praise Nico after Levine’s comment, however, the viewers followed the advice of Levine and ‘saved’ her.

Do you think Levine was wrong for speaking up and swaying the viewers?
