Taking Dead Aim-If Golf Today Looked Like 1975

We spent Friday down at Myrtle Beach.  The morning was occupied by a college visit with our son to Coastal Carolina University.

The afternoon was spent on the golf course at The Surf Golf and Beach Club playing a practice round for a tournment on Saturday and Sunday.

It was during this round that my son turned to me and asked if I'd take a quick video of his swing for him to look at something.  I turned into my father.

"You have NO IDEA how lucky you've got it.  Today, you get instantaneous video-in HD!  When I was little, "video" was my dad's Super 8 camera, and we were lucky if the film was develped in 2 weeks!"

Now, by the time I was a teen, we had moved into the VHS world, but the memories remain.

Puzzled by the concept of "film," he asked if there was any examples of what it looked like?

Well, there's an app for that.

Here's what golf highlights shot on Friday, would look like through the 1975 prism of Dad's video camera.
