USDA Warns Against “Cannibal Sandwiches”

The popular new trend in sandwiches involves the “cannibal sandwich.”

The snack features raw ground beef, garnished with onions and spices and served on bread or crackers.

The USDA is warning against eating the popular treat due to the threat of foodborne illness from the red meat.

They recommend that pork, lamb, and veal should be cooked at a minimum temperature of 145 degrees while any kind of poultry should be heated to 165 degrees.

Come on, people. Let's use some common sense!
