Unfortunately, it doesn't always work out like it did for the guy above.   I've never had this happen (or I may NEVER have tried again), but I can't imagine too many things more humiliating for a man than going in for a kiss and being rejected.

Now, imagine if this soul-crushing moment was captured on live TV and is now immortalized on the internet.

What you see below is an unidentified man who was attending a New Year's Eve party that was broadcast on NPO Radio 2, a Dutch TV station.   As the clock strikes the magic hour, the camera locks in on the dude as he leans into a blonde next to him.

However, there is no reciprocation, just a woman wincing in disgust and jerking her head away.

This isn't just being put in the "Friend Zone."  No, this is being told, "You're better off becoming a monk!"

Brutal.
