Honestly as a dad, it's a reaction that would not be uncommon.

Jason Aldean is strolling through the house and sees his son playing with toys on the floor.  Awwww, how great is that?

Wait...he's playing with a doll.

Like a girl's doll.

In fact, that's his older sister's doll.

Jason's reaction, "Shouldn't he have a truck or something?"

It seems his very pregnant wife, Brittany, who is due to deliver daughter, Navy Rome next month, was letting him play with the doll as he prepares for big brother duties.

"Whew!"

However, in today's modern society...was Jason's reaction wrong?  Is there anything wrong with children playing with toys that may be considered for the opposite sex?
