Garth Brooks Fan Gets $65K After Concert Accident A woman was injured while attending a Garth Brooks concert in Nashville last year.
A metal pole fell on the Jean Anne Crenshaw’s face during the balloon drop at Bridgestone Arena. A worker was trying to pry the balloons loose when he dropped the pole. Crenshaw suffered a broken nose and needed surgery. The company in charge of the balloon drop took responsibility.
Their insurance paid Crenshaw a $65,000 settlement. Crenshaw is still experiencing pain from the accident but she is considering attending one of Brooks’ upcoming stadium shows.
