Yesterday, I had the chance to do something I’ve wanted to for a long time.
I think Colt Ford is one of the most fascinating people in the music business. NO ONE did what Colt does before him, and certainly no one does it better.
As far as entertaining? I’ve been going to Coyote Joe’s for 13 years. In that time, I’ve seen an awful lot of talented people, but as far as fully connecting to his audience…there’s Eric Church and Colt Ford.
That’s it, that’s the list.
Anyway, I sat down, called up “Mr. Goodtime” and was blown away by his honesty, sincerity, and sense of humor…
Charlie Nance is the Afternoon Drive co-host (along with his wife) of "The Charlie and Debbie Show" at WSOC, Country 1037 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
