Tim McGraw performed his brand new single “Thought About You” on the Super Bowl 53 Tailgate Party which aired live on CBS just minutes ago (4: 30 ET).

“Thought About You” was written by Lee Thomas Miller, Brad Warren and Brett Warren. The lyrics take the listener on an emotional journey about lost love and opportunity weaving McGraw’s signature vocals with a powerful message. The song will be part of his 2019 album that he's now working on.

Just before he performed the song on the Super Bowl Tailgate Party, he bumped into fellow country star Kane Brown checking out the Super Bowl festivities.

McGraw releases “Thought About You” to radio tomorrow. While he performed on the Tailgate Party, the lyric video for the song played on a big screen behind him.

Besides "Thought About You," McGraw released "Neon Church” digitally before the album comes out. He discussed the pre-album song releases: “I love that there are no rules anymore and I can give fans more music at once. I really felt that both these songs were ready to be heard and will absolutely give a sense of where I’m going with my next project. They’re meaningful to me and show the diversity of what I’ve been working on musically.”
