The King George Strait’s Hangover Cure Is Pure Tex-Mex Healing

George Strait, who is an avid tequila drinker and investor in Código tequila, the Country legend knows how to get over a hangover.

Strait says that when he gets the occasional hangover he eats menudo. “It’s tripe soup. It’s very, very tasty. When I happen to have the occasional hangover, which I try not do if I can get some menudo that’s what I get," said Strait. Usually made with hominy, lime, spices and herbs, red chili peppers, and onions, the dish originated in Mexico and has become a favorite for Texans including George Strait.
