Actress, Kristin Chenoweth, spent part of her Valentine's Day in Gastonia, NC this year filming a Hallmark Channel movie in downtown.
The movie is called, "The Christmas Song" and will be out later this year. They also filmed scenes inside the Charlotte Cabinetry business on South Street.
As for the movie, In, "The Christmas Song,” Chenoweth plays a youth choir director who “needs to write a big song for the Christmas Eve show but ‘finds herself distracted’ when a boy with a golden voice joins her choir, which will come as news to his widowed father.”
