On Sunday evening, Regina King won her first-ever Oscar, Best Supporting Actress, for her role in "If Beale Street Could Talk."

She looked beautiful in a white gown, and was conveniently seated on the front row (think she knew? <G>). Anyway, even being that close can be treacherous. After her name was announced, the crowd rose to their feet, and King prepared to make her way to the stage.

First step, UH-OH!

King’s heels got tangled in her dress, causing her to momentarily pause and struggle to regain her footing.

And WHO should be there to save the day and the beautiful damsel in distress?

None other than "Captain America" himself, actor, Chris Evans who was also sitting in the front row next to King’s mother Gloria. Check it out as he leaps to offer his arm to allow her to gracefully ascend the stairs.

Not bad for a Massachusetts boy, huh? <g>
