Fresh off his Oscar-winning performance as the late, Queen front man, Freddie Mercury, it appears Rami Malek is on the verge of moving to his next project.

And it's a big one.

Malek is in final talks to play the villain the next James Bond movie.  Rumored to be called "Shatterhand," the 25th James Bond film is said to be the last with Daniel Craig at Agent 007.

Okay, time for me to show I'm a HUGE James Bond geek.  "Shatterhand" was the name used by Bond's arch rival, Ernst Stavro Blofeld as an alias in Japan, in the book, You Only Live Twice.  As Blofeld was portrayed in the last Bond film, Spectre, by Christoph Walz, I am assuming Malek will be playing his son.

Again, pure speculation by a Bond geek.

The film is slated to go before the cameras in the next month or so, and will be in theaters April 8, 2020.
