ABC/American Idol

Let me start by saying if you are against, or have a problem with, what The Make A Wish Foundation does for terminally/chronically ill children, you need to have your heart and soul examined by a higher power than this planet has.

Further, the artists who participate hold a special place in my heart.  Granting a little bit of your time to make, literally, THE LIFE of one of these kids, that shows me something.

Ethan Payne contacted MAW when he was 13.  He has cystic fibrosis.  It is an incurable lung disease.  Ethan wanted to meet Luke Bryan.

The Georgia boy traveled to Texas to meet his hero, and Luke went the extra mile.  He didn't just meet with Ethan, he brought him on-stage to perform with him, AND gave him his guitar in front of 50,000+ people.

Ethan is 18 now.  And the two met again.  This time at the audition for American Idol.

What a moment.
