NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio just announced 'Meatless Mondays', with schools offering exclusively vegetarian options for breakfast and lunch. Students will still be welcome to pack their own lunches that contain meat. Mayor de Blasio said cutting down on meat will "improve New Yorkers' health and reduce greenhouse gas emissions". 'Meatless Mondays' will go into effect with the 2019/20 school year.
How would you feel if your child's school started 'Meatless Mondays'?
