Most of us already know that drinks like soda are bad for you. But a new report suggests these drinks that are high in sugar might be worse than we think - especially for women.

According to the study, drinking two sugary beverages a day can increase the risk of premature death by 29% for men, and 63% for women. This is in comparison to those who drink the same drinks once a month or less.  There have also been links to the risk of Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and stroke in previous studies.

So all we need to do is switch to diet soda, right? Well, maybe not. While swapping out one diet drink a day can help lower the risks, drinking two or more can lead to many of the same health issues as normal soda's.

Drink at your own risk!
