Blind Dog Finds His Way Thanks To ‘Seeing Eye’ Dog

The 11- year- old golden retriever navigates through life with the help from a little furry friend!

Sweet old Charlie, the golden retriever, lost one eye to glaucoma in 2016 and then lost the other a year later. He seemed to be getting around fine, but his family, Adam and Chelsea Stipe, thought that he could use some help. They decided to welcome sweet little Maverick to the family! Maverick is a 4-month-old golden retriever who became Charlie's "seeing eye" dog.

At first, Charlie was reluctant and unsure. These feelings quickly changed to tenderness as Maverick walked close to him, making sure he could find his misplaced toys. Maverick seems to bring out the puppy in Charlie too!
