For COUNTLESS kids in this country, "Dora The Explorer" was a staple of their childhood television watching. For a lot of those, it also served as their first exposure to a foreign language (words and phrases were subtly and purposefully utilized).

"Dora The Explorer and The Lost City of Gold" has released a trailer in advance of the film's August 2nd release. In the movie, Dora and her schoolmates are kidnapped and enlisted by bad guys to find a lost city of gold.
What's been interesting is the reaction of...PARENTS to the trailer. They seem to be as much-if not more excited to see this movie. Let's face it, Moms have probably seen just as much of "Dora" as their kids, so it's no suprise they've gone over-the-top, comparing it "Indiana Jones" movie.
