Couple Dies After 56 Years Together, Just Hours Apart

A story that is both heartbreaking and heartwarming.

Michigan couple who had been married for a long 56 years died just hours apart from each other.

Southgate residents Judy and Will Webb, both 77 years old, were admitted to a hospice facility last month due to a series of health issues.

Before they died, they requested for their beds to be pushed together so they could hold hands, their daughter MaryBeth Webb says.

"When my dad died, my mom just kind of -- she wasn't responsive at all, verbally -- but you could see her pick up her hand and she was rubbing my dad's hand like, 'I'll be there soon,'" Webb says, her parents began dating when they were 14 years old.

"They didn't want to live without each other."

They were truly there for each other until the end.
