David Feherty is one of the most beloved personalities in sports broadcasting. His off-beat commentary and wit have brighted up golf on TV for decades.
However, David is a man who is haunted by the spectre of addiction.
He had been sober for more than 10 years, and then his son Shay died in 2017. And the demons returned.
In what is a brave admission on TV, David Feherty recounts this tale on tonight's "Real Sports w/Bryant Gumbel" airing at 10 on HBO.
