Maybe this should not be bothering me as much as it does, but I just know that I never, ever want to be separate from my family-for any reason.  That's kind of what I voluntarily signed up for when i became a husband/father.  And I certainly don't EVER imagine "elevating" myself above them.

This is Naomi Isted.  Naomi is a luxury travel blogger. She regularly brings her family, 3-year-old Rocco, 9-year-old Fleur and her husband, Hayden on her long luxury trips to the Caribbean.

BUT that's where the luxury ends for her family.

While Isted is enjoying all that First Class has to offer, she exiles hubby Hayden to economy to sit with the kids.

“I don’t feel guilty about it. I’ve always been a working mum, and I provide them with opportunities some children don’t have,” she says.

Wait, it gets better, Isted says she uses her time in first class to catch up on work, writing scripts, planning her itinerary and getting Instagram looks together.

Getting Instagram looks together?!

WTH?!

“I don’t think it’s fair for people who’ve paid $18,000 for a seat to have a child running up and down, jumping in front of their face,” says Isted.

OR...

You could be a responsible parent and teach your kids proper behavior...you know, if you can spare the cut into your Instagram preparation time.
