Fiona The Octopus Has Hidden Talent

Who knew an 8- legged aquatic animal could do this?!

If you travel to Sea Life Charlotte-Concord Aquarium at Concord Mills mall you'll be able to see Fiona in action!

Fiona is a giant Pacific octopus that weighs 35 pounds with arms that extend 6 to 8 feet.

She loves playing with her toys, solving puzzles, and painting.

Yes, PAINTING.

Her caretaker, Kristin, puts fingerpaint on a canvas and then securely tapes it down with plastic wrap over the paint. Kristin then takes whatever food they’re feeding Fiona that day and rubs it on the plastic wrap so she’s quick to check it out.
