This local city will soon be the home to the world's only facility!

The Mustang Owner’s Museum, located in Concord, NC, will have their grand opening celebration on Wednesday, April 17, which also happens to be the date of the 55th anniversary of the car.

It is said that inside, visitors will find nearly 60 to 65 Mustangs on display. Cars will include a pace car from the Indianapolis 500, special service cars, patrol cars and cars used by the military.

Exhibits will include signs, posters, and memorabilia that take visitors back in time, even all the way back to 1964 when the car debuted.

The celebration will continue all that weekend, and the museum will open to the public on May 3.
